Zygote Press and the Grafikwerkstatt
of Dresden, Germany have been involved in an exchange program since
1998. Each year, Zygote hosts artists from Dresden for five weeks
to join in the collective exchange that occurs here.

Among our Dresden artists are: Angela Hampel, Roland Boden,
Jana Morgenstern, Frank Tausend, Peter Wagler, Frank Herrmann, Stefan
Nestler, Jan Grossmann, Friedericke Aust, Baerbel Voigt and Detlef Schweiger.
Zygote and the Ohio Arts Council each select one artist printmaker to
go to Dresden each year to work in the Grafikwerkstatt studio. In addition to the Dresden exchange, Alfonso Fernandez of Santiago, Chile, joined us for one month residency in 2000 and produced over 10 editions during his residency here. The Chile and Dresden programs are supported by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council. |
